The IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) results have been released by the organizing institution for the exam, the Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection. The results for the Mains exam were released on 7th February. It must be noted that all the candidates must attain the cut-off score in the individual sections as well as cross the overall cut-off in order to make it through the interview round.
Exam Pattern and Vacancies
IBPS will conduct the examination to select specialist officers for 896 specialist officer posts. The exams are conducted in three stages. The prelims, the Mains, and the interview. All the candidates who qualify for the sectional and the overall cut-off in the prelims stage may write the Mains exam. The main exam has 60 questions, and each question is allocated 1 mark. Hence, the total score for the IBPS SO Mains exam is 60 marks.
The main exam duration for all posts is 45 minutes except for the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari, which is 60 minutes. Those candidates who qualify for the sectional as well as the overall cut-off for mains can appear for the interviews. The interview is of 100 marks. The final results for the exam are declared around 1st April. The final marks are obtained via normalization. It includes the marks obtained by the candidates at both the Mains and the Interview stage of the exam.

The IBPS conducts the IBPS SO exam annually to select specialist officers for public sector banks in India. The candidates are selected for the posts of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari or language officer, HR Officer, and Marketing Officer. How to Get a Copy of the Results
If the candidates want to download or print out a copy of the Mains results for the IBPS SO Exam, here are the steps to follow
- Visit the main website of IBPS. Here is the direct link to the website: IBPS Website.
- Once on the home page, the candidate must navigate to the “recent updates” section. The link for the IBPS SO Mains Exam will appear as a recent update.
- Once the candidate clicks on the link, a new page named “IBPS SO Mains Result” will open.
- The candidate’s credentials, like their Registration Number, Password,/ Date Of Birth, have to be entered as login details.
- There will be a captcha code that the candidate must fill in the given box to verify that he or she is a human operator.
- Click on the download tab, and if required, the candidate can keep a printout for future use.
Getting a Copy of the Mains Scorecard
