How to Deal With Problems During the Downloading Process?

In case you are facing any technical issues while trying to download the Admit Card or Exam City Slip, follow the below instructions:

Invalid Login Credentials:

Re-check your login credentials to make sure that you are trying to log in using the same email address and password that was used to register for the examination.

Download Button Unavailable:

The download option is only available 48-72 hours before the examination, so make sure that you wait till further notice before trying to download the Admit Card. But, if the Admit Card isn’t available even within the set timeslot, then make sure to contact the ICG Helpline.

Unable to Load Website:

This generally occurs when many candidates are accessing the website at the same time to download their documents. So, recheck your credentials and wait for at least an hour before trying again. As the traffic on the website reduces, you will be able to access and download your Admit Card. But if the issue persists, try to change the device you are using and make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Important Information for the Stage-1 Examination Candidates

The official ICG website has posted the list of documents that the candidates need to carry to their centre to be eligible to partake in the examination.

  • A physical copy of the E-Admit Card is mandatory for everyone to carry. The E-Admit Card should preferably be in color, but you might be permitted to take a black-and-white copy of the QR code and all the necessary information are visible.
  • Candidates must carry the original photo ID proof that was used during the registration process and was mentioned in the Admit Card.
  • Candidates must also carry two color passport-size photographs with similar facial features as the photo used during registration.
  • Candidates must also remember their email address, or they will not be able to log in and start the exam.

Additional Documents for SC/ST Candidates for TA

The SC/ST candidates claiming Travel Assistance (TA) have to carry some additional documents:

  • Extra E-Admit card copy (back-to-back print)
  • Original caste certificate
  • Two self-attested photocopies of the caste certificate
  • Original train/bus ticket
